SEASON ONE

101. Pilot (Oct 6 2000)
Grissom tackles the case of an apparent suicide found in a bathtub. Nick investigates several hookers who have mysteriously passed out, as well as a tourist who was drugged in a bizarre manner. Catherine and Warrick investigate an intruder who was shot dead by a homeowner. Also, Warrick is given the task of supervising rookie criminalist (Holly Gribbs).
102. Cool Change (Oct 13 2000)
The team is faced with solving the possible suicide of a high-roller who fell to his death from a hotel after winning $40 million, while also trying to solve who shot Holly Gribbs. Grissom also gets the uneviable job of head of the CSI unit when Brass is transferred to Homicide.
103. Crate and Burial (Oct 20 2000)
Time is of the essence when Grissom and Sara must find the kidnapped wife of a millionaire before she dies. Catherine and Warrick investigate the hit-and-run death of a child.
104. Pledging Mr. Johnson (Oct 27 2000)
When just a leg surfaces in a lake, Grissom finds himself investigating a murder involving a possible adulterous situation. Nick and Sara investigate the apparent suicide of a college student in a fraternity house.
105. Friends and Lovers (Nov 3 2000)
Grissom investigates the death of a naked young man found in the desert. A woman who was buried the week before is no longer in her grave, but instead is found in a dumpster. A young woman claims self defense when a college dean is found dead.
106. Who Are You? (Nov 10 2000)
A plumbing problem unearths a woman's skeleton buried in the foundation of a house. Grissom's task is to determine her identity - and killer - from the remains. Catherine is faced with a difficult case: her ex-husband has been charging with raping a stripper. Warrick and Sara investigate an officer-involved shooting.
107. "Blood Drops (Nov 17 2000)
The entire team focuses on a grisly mass murder in a suburban home. Four family members are brutally butchered with a kitchen knife in their sleep. The only survivors are the two daughters: a teenager and a 4-year-old, the latter who is too traumatized to talk. (formerly known as If These Walls Could Talk)
108. Anonymous (Nov 24 2000)
Is a serial killer on the loose? Grissom thinks so when a body found in a bathtub is arranged in the exact fashion as a previous corpse staged to look like a suicide. Nick and Warrick investigate a car crash with no driver but plenty of circumstantial evidence.
109. Unfriendly Skies (Dec 8 2000)
A first-class passenger dies violently on a flight to Las Vegas. Grissom and his team encounter contradicting stories and evidence from the remaining eight passengers.
110. Sex, Lies & Larvae (Dec 22 2000)
A woman is murdered, and her battered and bug-infested body is found on a mountainside and Gil and Sara investigate. Warrick and Catherine probe the theft of a valuable painting, and Nick examines a car found near a bus station. Did the driver leave town on the bus, or is did something more sinister occur?
111. I-15 Murders (Jan 12 2001)
A killer is leaving clues up and down the I-15 interstate, and Grissom and Catherine must piece together the clues before the latest victim dies. Nick runs into Kristy Hopkins, the hooker who drugged her clients, and Sara and Warrick must put personal differences aside to solve a robbery-homicide case.
112. Fahrenheit 932 (Feb 1 2001)
Grissom is drawn into solving a case that is already solved: that of a man awaiting trial for arson and the murder of his wife and child. Catherine and Nick try to piece together the clues of a teenage 'runner' who was found shot dead in his car.
113. Boom (Feb 8 2001)
When a bomb blast destroys the lobby of a Vegas business building, Grissom must contend with an overeager security guard who is also a prime suspect. Nick spends the night with prostitute Kristy Hopkins (Pilot episode) and becomes the prime suspect after she is found murdered.
114. To Halve and to Hold (Feb 15 2001)
When the family pet retrieves a human bone instead of a stick, Grissom and Catherine must assemble the pieces of a skeleton found in the desert. Warrick and Sara investigate the death of a male stripper who died shortly after performing at a bachelorette party.
115. Table Stakes (Feb 22 2001)
A husband and wife con team are suspected of foul play when a woman is found dead in the mansion's swimming pool during a fund-raising party. They claim they're house-sitting for a legendary showgirl. Warrick is called to a homicide of a degenerate gambler found shot dead inside of a glass hotel elevator, and must face demons from his own past.
116. Too Tough to Die (Mar 1 2001)
Grissom, Sara and Nick tackle the case of a woman who was sexually assaulted, shot twice in the head and left for dead... a case which Sara gets too personally involved with. Warrick and Catherine help the DA with a murder case involving two neighbors arguing over a motorcycle.
117. Face Lift (Mar 8 2001)
The robbery of a store turns to murder when the thief is found dead, which then leads Grissom and Catherine on a wilder chase when the fingerprints of a presumed dead kidnap victim show up at the scene. Sara and Warrick have a difference of opinion on how a woman died - was it a simple fire - or was it spontaneous human combustion?
118. $35K O.B.O. (Mar 29 2001)
A building collapse that claims the lives of three elderly women has Catherine puzzled and at odds with the district engineer. The team tries to piece together evidence from an apparent carjacking/homicide after rain deluges the crime scene.
119. Gentle, Gentle (Apr 12 2001)
A baby is kidnapped from a wealthy family, but evidence mounts that the family may have been involved.
120. Sounds of Silence (Apr 14 2001)
A vehicular-manslaughter case turns to murder when it's discovered that the victim, who was deaf, was already dead before being run over. Also, a shoot-out at a coffee shop, which may have been a professional hit, leaves five people dead, including a local high roller.
121. Justice is Served (Apr 26 2001)
A jogger is found dead, apparently killed by a large animal, but also mysteriously devoid of some internal organs -- which appeared to have been removed with a scalpel. Catherine becomes convinced that a 6-year-old girl's death inside an amusement park was no accident.
122. Evaluation Day (May 10 2001)
After a high-speed chase, the police discover a decapitated head in a stolen car driven by two scantily-clad women, and then a headless corpse is discovered in the desert -- but is it even human? The CSI must put two and two together... Warrick attempts to help a young inmate who has been falsely accused of killing a gang member.
123. Strip Strangler (May 17 2001)
A serial killer strangles his female victims, and then cleans up after himself. When Grissom is removed from the case by the Sheriff for strongly disagreeing with the FBI, he finds out that the Feds plan to use Sara as a decoy to trap the killer.

SEASON TWO

201. Burked(Sept. 27, 2001)
When the son of a Las Vegas mogul is found dead in his home, the evidence at first points to a drug overdose. However, clues at the crime scene lead the Grissom's team to deduce that the man was murdered. Suspects abound: from his family -- to a gold-digging ladyfriend.
202. Chaos Theory (Oct. 04, 2001)
When a co-ed disappears from a local university, unsavory facts about both students and staff begin to surface during the CSI's investigation.
203. Overload (Oct. 11, 2001)
Grissom tackles the case of a construction worker who takes a fatal plunge at the work site -- was it an accident, suicide -- or murder? Nick and Catherine investigate the case a young patient who died while undergoing therapy with a psychiatrist.
204. Bully for You (Oct. 18, 2001)
The team tackles two cases: a school bully is fatally shot in a high-school bathroom, and they must determine the identity of a very badly decomposed corpse found by a hiker. It turns out the body has liquified!
205. Scuba Doobie-Doo (Oct. 25, 2001)
A blood-splattered apartment is what a tenant leaves behind when he skips out, and it's up to Grissom, Warrick and Sara to determine where his missing girlfriend is - and why the blood is on the walls. Meanwhile, Catherine and Nick get to solve the unusual case of a scuba diver's corpse (in full gear) found 30 feet up in a tree in the middle of a forest fire. Nick is leaning toward the old urban legend, but Catherine isn't.
206. Alter Boys (Nov. 01, 2001)
The team tackles two cases: Warrick and Catherine handle the case of an apparently healthy young woman who dies in a health spa, while Grissom, Nick and Sara have a ready-made suspect in a multiple homicide when a man is found burying a body full of bullet holes... or do they? We learn more about Grissom's beliefs.
207. Caged (Nov. 08, 2001)
Catherine and Sara handle the fatal case of car vs. train. Nick Nick and Grissom investigate the death of a worker at a historical site who is found in a metal cage meant for rare books.Their only possible witness: an autistic co-worker.
208. "Slaves of Las Vegas (Nov. 15, 2001)
A young woman's naked corpse is found dead in a park, but she was definitely murdered elsewhere. Whipmarks and liquid latex on the body lead Grissom, Catherine and Nick to a fetish club. Sara and Warrick handle the case of a man shot and injured at a check cashing store. It might be a robbery, but the CSI suspect an inside job smacking of insurance fraud and theft.
209. And Then There Were None (Nov. 22, 2001)
When three 'women' rob a local casino and get away with a quarter of a million dollars, witnesses all have conflicting stories about what happened. Grissom, NIck and Warrick investigate that crime. Meanwhile, Catherine and Sara investigate a murder at a faraway mini-mart where a man was killed. Are the cases related?
210. Ellie (Dec. 6, 2001)
A con man is shot dead in a casino parking lot after scamming a tourist couple who may not be what they seem. We'll learn a lot more about Brass when a case turns very personal: his estranged daughter is implicated in a murder. Warrick has the uneviable task of running the CSI when Grissom is off on a lecture and Catherine goes out of town.
211. Organ Grinder (Dec. 13, 2001)
An amorous couple's desires are deflated when the hotel elevator opens up to reveal a nearly dead real estate mogul on the floor, who later dies of apparently natural causes. However, the CSI figure he was poisoned and must check organ donors and delve into an old shooting case to solve the mystery.
212. You've Got Male (Dec. 20, 2001)
The bodies of two young women are found stuffed into a culvert pipe at a highway construction site, and a trail of e-mail leads to a recently paroled inmate - did he commit the murders? A dead man is found out in the woods. Was he mistaken for a deer by another hunter, or was it murder?
213. Identity Crisis (Jan 17, 2002)
A face from the past returns, leaving another dead body in his wake, taunting Grissom to catch him - before Grissom is the next victim. Look for the return of Paul Millander -- as a judge!
214. The Finger (Jan 31, 2002)
When a man withdraws one million dollars cash from his bank, and he's got blood on his hands, he draws attention from the police, and soon Catherine ends up an unwitting participant in a kidnapping gone awry in which the only lead to the victim is a severed finger. And... Sara goes on a date.
215. Burden of Proof (Feb 07, 2002)
When the corpse of a photographer shows up a 'body farm' where the forensic scientists study body decomposition, Grissom discovers the man was seemingly shot to death, and soon the investigation leads to sexual abuse of a child. And... *"Grissom's leadership is questioned by some members of his staff".
216. Primum Non Nocere (Feb 28, 2002)
The team finds themselves working two cases: an unpopular hockey player dies on the ice, and Warrick finds himself falling for a suspect in the death a sax player.
217. Felonious Monk (Mar 07, 2002)
The CSI investigate the case of the several Buddhist monks who are found murdered in a monastery near Las Vegas. Catherine delves in to the death of an old friend. Look for flashbacks into Catherine's earlier career.
218. Chasing the Bus (Mar 28, 2002)
The entire team, Greg included, ends up at the site of a bus crash in which there are multiple fatalities and injuries. Was this just a tragic accident, drunken driving, or something more sinister?
219. The Stalker (Apr 04, 2002)
A young woman is murdered in her apartment. Can a clairvoyant help the team find her killer, before one of the CSI team is murdered?
220. Cats in the Cradle (Apr 25, 2002)
The CSI tackle two cases: Nick and Sara investigate a woman's car that blows up from a pipe bomb in the engine. She survives, but the CSI unearth family problems. A woman is found murdered in her home, and the only witnesses may be furry and feline. Was a neighbor who hated the cats responsible?
221. Anatomy of a Lye (May 2, 2002)
A body is found buried in a park, covered in lye, and appears to be a hit-and-run victim which traces to a lawyer. Meanwhile, Nick investigates the case of a woman who drowned - in the desert.
222. Cross-Jurisdictions (May 09, 2002)
Pilot for a spin-off show called CSI - CSI Miami. When a police official is murdered in Vegas, and his wife and child turn up missing, Warrick and Catherine go to Florida to track down the killer.
223. The Hunger Artist (May 16, 2002)
The disfigured and partially decomposed body of a woman is found under a freeway overpass, and soon discloses the seedier side of modeling when the woman's identity is discovered. Meanwhile, Grissom faces a personal crisis.

SEASON THREE

301. Revenge is Best Served Cold" (Sep 26 2002)
A gambler drops dead at the table, and it doesn't take Grissom long to figure out it wasn't natural causes. Meanwhile, Nick and Catherine investigate a 'fast and furious' death of a street racer out in the desert.
302. The Accused is Entitled (Oct 03, 2002)
Trouble dogs the CSI team when Grissom investigates the case of a movie star involved in an ugly murder, and two members of his team are accused of compromising evidence by a visiting investigator. Look for the return of Sara's on/off date, Hank Peddigrew.
303. Let the Seller Beware (Oct 10 2002)
A house sale turns sour when prospective buyers find the owners murdered in the swimming pool. Suspects abound, including the realtor who just may have been robbing his own clients. Sara investigates a cheerleader's gruesome demise.
304. A Little Murder (Oct 17 2002)
Grissom, Catherine and Nick tackle the case of a dwarf who committed suicide at a Little People's convention that's in town. However. the hanging may not have been suicide. Warrick and Sara check out a murder. Catherine is attacked at a crime scene at the site of a home invasion.
305. Abra-Cadaver (Oct 31 2002)
The team tackles two cases. Nick and Catherine try to piece together clues left behind when a singer from a popular band apparently ODs while on tour -- even though he'd supposed gotten off drugs years before. Grissom, Warrick and Sara tackle the case of a volunteer who disappears during a magic act, and soon discover that not all is at it seems.
306. The Execution of Catherine Willows (Nov 07 2002)
Could Catherine's work have inadvertantly put an innocent man in jail? Fifteen years ago, Catherine's testimony helped put John Mathers on death row for the rape/murder of three young women. However, new DNA evidence is granting the man a stay of reprieve. Worse yet, another girl at the exact same college is murdered in the identical fashion.
307. "Fight Night(Nov 14 2002)
Grissom, Sara and Warrick investigate the brutal world of boxing when a boxer abruptly dies in the ring. Meanwhile, Catherine and Nick investigate a 'smash and grab' at a jewelry store, which soon turns into more than a simple robbery.
308. Snuff (Nov 21 2002)
A film developer alerts the police to a snuff film that turned up in processing, leading the team into the sordid world of pornography. They also investigate the death of a young man with Down's Syndrome, who worked at a riding stable, and turned up dead, his skeleton covered with fire ants.
309. Blood Lust (Dec 5 2002)
A taxi driver accidentally runs over a teenager who steps in his path. He pays the ultimate price: he is beaten so badly by a mob that he dies. However, the team soon discovers that the car may not have been what killed the youth. Also, a man is found shot dead. How is he related to the taxi death?
310. High and Low (Dec 12 2002)
Some skateborders encounter an impediment to their fun: a body lands on the concrete. Did he jump or fall from the building, or somewhere else? Also, a man is shot to death in a parking lot.
311. Recipe for Murder (Jan 09 2003)
The team ends up dealing with bad food this episode: a chef from a local restaurant ends up as part of the hamburger in a meatpacking plant, and soon it turns out that more than cooking was going on in the kitchen. The second case tackles a young woman whose disturbed personal history makes her a perfect candidate for suicide - or murder.
312. Got Murder? (Jan 16 2003)
The teams deals with some people who take a while to die. First, a car salesman dies - twice, and a woman thought to be dead shows up alive, but then turns up dead, and some very disturbing facts about her family comes to light during the investigation.
313. Random Acts of Violence (Jan 30 2003)
When a child of Warrick's former mentor is killed in a drive-by shooting, Warrick lets his emotions wrongly lead him to assume a suspect is guilty. A second case involves CSI enter the world of cubicle dwellers as they look for clues into the case of a man who lay dead for hours before his geeky computer programmer subordinates noticed anything was amiss. And all of them had plenty of motive to off their boss.
314. One Hit Wonder (Feb 6 2003)
Catherine investigates a peeping tom who is now breaking into women's apartments and terrorizing them. Sara reopens an old case in which a colleague's husband was murdered, but the killer was never apprehended. Meanwhile, Grissom's hearing deteriorates.
315. Lady Heather's Box (Feb 13 2003)
This special 90-minute episode focuses on cases personally affecting both Grissom and Catherine. Grissom runs across the dominatrix Lady Heather once again (from "Slaves of Las Vegas") when two murders have a connection to Lady Heather: they were her employees. Catherine becomes personally involved when her ex-husband, traveling with their daughter, is involved in a car crash and vanishes. Sara is in charge of the investigation, but Catherine wants quicker results.
316. Lucky Strike (Feb 20 2003)
This episode revolves around the kidnapping of the 5-year-old son of a professional basketball player who is visiting Las Vegas. Another case, quite odd, is when a man stumbles out of his car and dies - from a wooden stake rammed into his head.
317. Crash & Burn" (Mar 13 2003)
An elderly woman plows her car into a crowded bar during happy hour, killing herself and injuring several patrons, including Sara's boyfriend, EMT worker Hank Peddigrew. However, as the case is investigated, Sara uncovers some startling facts about Hank that could rock their relationship. Elsewhere, Grissom quickly decides that a woman's death of carbon-monoxide poisoning was no accident.
318. Precious Metal (Apr 03 2003)
The world of robotic sports comes into the play upon the discovery of a badly decomposed body in a chemical waste drum. Grissom and Warrick investigate the death of a newly married man whose body was found in an alley.
319. A Night at the Movies (Apr 10 2003)
Catherine and Grissom go to a dingy art theater to find out why one patron ended up being stabbed in the head with a screwdriver. Across town, the badly bruised body of a teenage boy is found shot to death in a bullet-ridden warehouse, where over 100 rounds were fired from every conceivable angle.
320. Last Laugh (Apr 24 2003)
A despised comic drops dead on stage, apparently after drinking tainted water. Worse yet, a 15-year-old boy dies in a convenience store after drinking the same brand of water. Brass re-opens a woman's accidental-death case after seeing the deceased's husband ... enjoying himself in a flashy new sports car and equally flashy date.
321. Forever (May 01 2003)
A horse trainer is found dead in the cargo bay of a private 747 jet, which is carrying a dozen well-heeled passengers and a prized race horse. Meanwhile, in the Hells' Gate section of Death Valley, Warrick and Sara investigate the apparent suicide of a 15-year-old found underneath a bedspread. Worse, a girl's body turns up half a mile away.
322. Play with Fire (May 08 2003)
A woman is found strangled to death in a small press box at a high school football field, and evidence points toward a convict who is still behind bars. At the lab, disaster strikes when an explosion destroys DNA evidence for a case, and leaves both Greg and Sara injured. Worse, the explosion might have been caused by one of their own.
323. Inside the Box (May 15 2003)
Two plots wrap up the third season: Three masked bandits steal something from a safe-deposit box from a Las Vegas bank in a daring daytime heist, during which Det. Lockwood is shot and killed. This case hits home for Catherine when the evidence leads to casino owner Sam Braun , who is like a father to her. Also, Grissom's hearing gets progressively worse and he seeks out Dr. Robbins for help.

 

SEASON FOUR

401. Assume Nothing" pt 1/2 (Sep 25 2003)
The detectives hunt down a serial killer who has left a woman dead in a hotel room with her throat slit. The case turns to a double homicide when her husband is later found dead in his car. Nick jeopardizes the investigation when he discusses some of the case - and it turns up on the local news.
402. All for Our Country" pt 1/2 (Oct 02 2003)
Conclusion. Another double homicide plagues the team - eliminating some suspects - and evidence soon leads Grissom, Nick and Warrick to suspect a police officer (David Andrews) could be involved. Across town, Catherine and Sara investigate the death of a college student found in floating in his shower.
403. Homebodies (Oct 09 2003)
Grissom and Warrick investigate when the mummified remains of an elderly woman is discovered in a closet, and it appears the woman wasn't dead when she was locked in there. Catherine checks out the discovery of a handgun in someone's backyard, to that of the shooting death of a bounty hunter across town. Sara and Nick investigate a breaking & entering that the family strangely denies ever occurring.
404. Invisible Evidence (Nov 13 2003)
Warrick is blindsided in court when a bloody knife he recovered from a suspected killer's car is determined to be inadmissible, leaving the CSIs only 24 hours to find new evidence before the accused murderer is set free. (Not shown October 16th as originally scheduled)
405. Feeling the Heat (Oct 23 2003)
Catherine investigates the death of a baby who was left inside a locked car on a steamy day; Nick and Sara examine a lakeside scene where a young woman's body was found washed ashore. Lastly, Warrick investigates the death of a 'couch potato' found dead in his sweltering house.
406. Fur and Loathing (Oct 30 2003)
A car, an 18-wheeler, and a lonely stretch of highway all turn into a disaster. A women dodges an animal running into her path, leading her smack into the truck. However, the animal is very unusual: it's a man - who has been shot - but is dressed in a full length racoon costume. Grissom and Catherine find themselves led to the world of 'furries' and 'plushies' - people who dress up as animals. Also, a convenience-store employee is found shot to death in an industrial freezer.
407. Jackpot (Nov 06 2003)
A dog finds a severed head in some woods. The head ends up with Dr. Robbins, and then Grissom goes to the small town of Jackpot, Nevada, where he locates a headless body buried up to its shoulders, and runs into a small town sheriff may know a lot more than he's willing to tell. Meanwhile, Catherine receives an unexpected and unwelcome gift from her father, which prompts her to visit him.
408. After the Show (Nov 20 2003)
A model has been missing for almost a week and no one knows where she is despite the constant media attention. After a strange 911 call, Catherine is certain she has found the man responsible but must get him to confess. The news doesn't sit well with Sara and Nick, who each hope to use the case to improve their chances of getting a coveted promotion.
409. Grissom versus the Volcano (Dec 11 2003)
When a bomb explodes at the front entrance of a hotel on the Strip, the frightening possibility of terrorism becomes a little too real, but soon leads down the odd trail to a school science fair. A musician's girlfriend is found dead in a bathtub and it looks like murder.
410. Coming of Rage (Dec 17 2003)
Grissom investigates the murder of a 15-year-old boy found beaten to death at a construction site, possibly with a hammer; Nick probes the fatal shooting of a newlywed outside of her new house while her husband and ex-husband fought in the yard.

411. Eleven Angry Jurors (Jan 08 2004 )
Was known as "The Giving Tree." A hung jury ends up in worse states when a juror ends up dead during deliberations. Nick must look for new evidence when a jealous woman turns up to report a murder--that happened three years previously.
412. Butterflied (Jan 14 2004 )
Was known as "Fishing in Vegas." Grissom and his team work on a double homicide investigation where the victim has eerie similarities to Sara. Grissom becomes obsessed with a victim, a woman found murdered in her home who looks just like Sara. The team then finds the disarticulated remains of their prime suspect in multiple garage cans in the area, presenting them with a double homicide that appears to be the perfect crime until the team discovers an unlikely piece of evidence left behind at the crime scene.
413. Suckers (Feb 05 2004)
Grissom investigates a twist-filled case when a priceless 17th-century Japanese samurai sword is stolen from a Vegas hotel. And... The CSI team investigates an art heist and the underground world of blood- drinking goth devotees.
414. Paper or Plastic (Feb 12 2004)
Grissom and his team investigate multiple homicides at a local grocery store. Grissom must put aside his personal animosity towards his nemesis, Officer Fromansky (David Andrews), who discharged his weapon after his partner was shot.
415. Early Rollout (Feb 19 2004)
Grissom has the entire CSI team working the execution style murder of a millionaire and his wife who are shot to death in the driveway of their gated community. D.B. Sweeney ("The Cutting Edge") guest stars as a former business associate of the victim and a prime suspect in his murder investigation.
416. Getting Off (Feb 26 2004)
A brutal stabbing death in the worst neighborhood of Las Vegas plunges the CSIs into the netherworld of illicit drugs and addiction, and a dead man with makeup isn't just an ordinary clown.
417. XX (Mar 11 2004)
A mangled female body is discovered tied to the undercarriage of a bus carrying prisoners from a women's correctional facility after a severed arm flies out from beneath the vehicle and strikes a car. Catherine leads the investigation. Nick and Grissom investigate the case of a man stabbed multiple times.
418. Bad to the Bone (Apr 01 2004)
An intimidating, husky man is beaten to death in a casino men's room, apparently by a lone attacker. The investigation leads the CSIs to the slightly-built owner of a run-down motel where they find evidence of other crimes and murders.

Based on a real life case of a several MIT engineering students who, in the 1970s, figured how to beat roullette by using physics. The results of this tactic prove deadly when two gamblers who win more than $400,000 turn up dead, shot execution style. Complicating the investigation is the fact they were at Sam Braun's casino, making him the number one suspect. Grissom is forced to take Catherine off the case because Braun is her father. Maury Chaykin and Nicholas Lea guest stars.
423. Bloodlines (May 20 2004)
In the season finale, a casino employee is beaten and raped on her way home from work. She survives and is able to identify her attacker, but DNA evidence suggests that he is not the person responsible, leaving Grissom and his team to find the crucial evidence. Meanwhile, "Grissom comes to the rescue of one of the CSI members who lands on the other side of the law." (From CBS press release)

501. Viva Las Vegas (Sep 23 2004)
Greg's first day in the field has him accompanying Grissom to the scene of a fatal nightclub shooting. Catherine tackles the death of a stripper found in a hotel suite. Warrick must determine if foul play is responsible for the death of a man found electrocuted in his bathtub. Nick and Sara get the more unusual case: an 'alien' body is found buried near Area 51. Call the X-Files! ;) Meanwhile, Chandra (Reiko Aylesworth) replaces Greg in the DNA lab.
502. Down the Drain (Oct 07 2004)
A man's badly twisted corpse is found in a city storm-drain tunnel following a severe thunderstorm, and the discovery leads to another disturbing finding: human bones that may have come from a murder victim. As more bones are found the investigation focuses on identifying the victim and pinpointing the location where the body was dumped.
503. Harvest (Oct 14 2004)
Grissom and his crew investigate the kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl taken from a convenience-store parking lot while her older sister is inside. The case hits the CSIs hard and Catherine even harder after Lindsey is picked up by police for hitchhiking. Back in the lab, Greg's latest replacement attracts Warrick's attention but her eccentric personality could be a problem.
504. Crow's Feet (Oct 21 2004)
A woman is found dead in a hotel room, her body covered in skin lesions. At first an infectious disease is suspected, but soon the CSI find themselves with a second victim, both of whom received bizarre anti-aging treatments at an expensive spa. Grissom, Sara and Greg probe the death of a man found dead in his house while it was being fumigated.

Grissom investigates the death of a woman found dead in a neighborhood fountain following a sex party. Across town, Nick and Warrick probe the murder of a man killed with a table saw in a closed video arcade.
506. What's Eating Gilbert Grissom? (Nov 04 2004)
The 'blue paint' killer returns. Grissom believes that a serial killer responsible for several deaths at a Las Vegas college over the past 17 years is at it again when body parts are found on campus. But the latest victim is a departure from the killer's previous targets.
507. Formalities (Nov 11 2004)
A teen girl is killed in a luxury casino suite where a private high-school homecoming party is being held, and the investigation reveals that another girl is missing, the victim of a possible kidnapping.
508. Ch-Ch-Changes (Nov 18 2004)
Grissom is plunged into the world of transgenders while investigating the murder of a woman whose throat was slashed and her genitals mutilated after she stopped her car on a dark road outside of Vegas. This is the series' 100th episode.
509. Mea Culpa (Nov 25 2004)
Grissom and his crew come under fire from the lab's new assistant director after Gil discovers a previously undetected fingerprint on a key piece of evidence while testifying during a murder trial. The new evidence makes the lab look bad---and puts Grissom on the hot seat. In another case, Sara and Greg probe the shooting death of a John Doe to determine whether he was murdered or committed suicide.
510. No Humans Involved (Dec 09 2004)
Sara's mysterious background becomes a bit more clear as she helps investigate the starvation death of a 5-year-old boy whose body is discovered near a trash dumpster. At the county lock-up, Warrick and Nick probe the beating of a prisoner in an overcrowded cell. Later, Catherine learns that being the boss isn't all it's cracked up to be when she has to reprimand Warrick for what she deems unprofessional behavior.
511. Who Shot Sherlock? (Jan 05 2005)
A man who pretended he was Sherlock Holmes and re-created the legendary sleuth's famous 221B Baker St. dwelling in his basement is found shot to death there. The chief suspects fancy themselves to be Dr. Watson, Prof. Moriarty and Irene Adler. Grissom initially investigates, but hands the case off to Greg for his final proficiency. Outside of town, a dead man is found inside a wrecked vehicle and Warrick and Nick try to determine whether foul play was involved.
512. Snakes (Jan 13 2005)
A severed human head, with all of its hair pulled out and a dead baby rattlesnake stuffed in its throat, is found inside of a newspaper dispenser in a predominantly Spanish-speaking part of town. The investigation reveals that the victim's death may be linked to a type of Mexican music that glorifies crime. Also, a man is found shot to death in a car on the roof of a casino parking garage, and the evidence indicates that the shooter may be wheelchair bound.
513. Nesting Dolls (Feb 03 2005)
When two female corpses are uncovered in a new housing development construction area, the CSIs are led into the world of Russian mail-order brides, where young women get work visas and come to America hoping to land a man who will marry them and give them citizenship. Meanwhile, Sara is reprimanded by Ecklie for an inappropriate comment and ends up opening up to Grissom about her long-held family secret.
514. Unbearable (Feb 10 2005)
A hunter is found mauled to death in the mountains and the Kodiak bear that killed him is also found slain nearby with its stomach slashed open and its gallbladder removed. The probe reveals that the bear isn't native to Nevada and that it was probably smuggled in. Back in the city, Grissom investigates the disappearance of a wealthy young mother who vanished shortly after meeting a girlfriend at a bar where a male patron may have been stalking her.
515. King Baby (Feb 17 2005)
A powerful Las Vegas casino owner (who had more enemies than friends) is found dead in his driveway after falling, jumping or being pushed from an upper-floor balcony of his plush mansion. Catherine's team is the first to respond to the scene, but Ecklie also brings in Grissom and his crew to help with the high-profile case, which doesn't sit well with Catherine. The investigation reveals that the dead man had dirt on most every prominent person in town and a dark secret of his own.
516. Big Middle (Feb 24 2005)
The discovery of a gunshot victim in a canyon leads Catherine and Warrick into the high-stakes world of sports betting. Back in town, a convention of plus-size people draws Grissom's interest as he probes the case of a man who was crushed to death in his hotel room. The investigation reveals that the man was friendly with some heavyset women who were attending the convention. 
517. Compulsion (Mar 10 2005)
A flight attendant is raped and stabbed to death in her low-rent hotel room, but the killer leaves no trace. The crime shows eerie similarities to an unsolved rape-murder committed five years ago. Across town in an upscale neighborhood, Catherine investigates the beating death of a 12-year-old boy who was apparently slain in his bed while his parents slept in a nearby room.
518. Spark of Life (Mar 31 2005)
Two charred bodies are found near a hillside in the country, one of whom was a stargazer who was apparently consumed by a rolling fireball. As Grissom investigates the scene, he discovers that the other victim is still alive. In a suburban neighborhood, a 5-year-old girl is found drowned in a family pool and her parents are discovered shot to death inside the house. (once known as "Firestarter")
519. 4 x 4 (Apr 14 2005)
Grissom investigates a near deadly collision on a one-way street; Warrick probes the murder of a model at an auto show; Sara and Greg search for clues in the death of a bodybuilder at his home; and Nick gathers evidence to determine how a 12-year-old boy died and why his body was left on a city bench.
520. Hollywood Brass (A[r 24 2005)
Brass gets a change of scenery that takes him to Los Angeles to help his estranged daughter - a hooker - find a missing friend who turned up dead.
521. Committed (Apr 28 2005)
A state mental hospital that houses sexually violent predators and the criminally insane is the primary setting for this intense, twisted episode in which Grissom and Sara investigate an inmate's murder. The good news: All of the suspects are locked inside the facility. The bad news: They're all capable of extreme violence--which Sara learns all too soon.
522. Weeping Willows (May 05 2005)
The man Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) flirts with at a bar comes back into her life as a suspect in a murder investigation. Alan Rosenberg (Helgenberger's real life husband) guest stars as the object of Catherine's flirtation.
523. Iced (May 12 2005)
Two amorous freshmen are found dead on a sleeping bag in a dorm room, and Sara and Greg run into one dead end after another as they try to determine why the students were killed. In another case, a body is found outside of town in the middle of what appears to be a crop circle--with no footprints leading into or out of it. So how did the body get there? Perhaps it fell from the sky! (aka Secrets & Flies)
524. Grave Danger (May 19 2005)
In the biggest CSI episode ever, the CSIs are in a desperate race against time to save a member of their team who is in grave danger. It's a not to miss explosive season finale directed by Quentin Tarantino.

SEASON SIX

601. Bodies in Motion (Sep 22 2005)
The sixth season begins with Grissom investigating the deaths of two people found inside a burning trailer that apparently caught fire when a gas main exploded. Across town, Catherine and Warrick probe the murder of a high-priced stripper who was found in a low-rent part of the city. The investigation leads to the discovery of more bodies when two more are located inside an abandoned car. Meanwhile, Warrick gives Catherine some shocking news.
602. Room Service (Sep 29 2005)
Warrick and Nick investigate the death of an up-and-coming movie star whose body is found in a luxury hotel room where he partied with a woman he met in a casino. Across town, Grissom and Catherine work a triple homicide that involves two Laotian men and a taxi driver. One of the men and the cabbie are found shot to death outside of an apartment building. The other man is found dead in his car, an apparent accident victim, but the evidence points to murder.
603. Bite Me (Oct 04 2005)
A man finds his wife's bloody body after she apparently fell down the stairs in their home. Grissom and his crew investigate and the evidence points to murder. The probe reveals that the husband's previous wife died in a similar manner and that he is involved with another woman who has a biting fetish. The husband claims he was asleep outside by the pool when the death occurred.
604. Shooting Stars (Oct 13 2005)
The bodies of 11 cult members who drank poison are found by Grissom and Catherine in an old underground military bunker in the desert. They stumble upon the grisly find while investigating the death of a man who was badly beaten and dumped in a backyard that borders the desert. Believing the body was dragged to the yard, Gil and Catherine follow drag marks and a dozen sets of footprints into the desert, where they find the bunker.
605. Gum Drops (Oct 20 2005)
A family of four who lived in a small Nevada town is believed to have been murdered in their home. Nick takes the lead in the case and discovers three pools of blood in the house, but no bodies. As the investigation intensifies, Nick comes to believe that the youngest victim, a 10-year-old girl, may still be alive. But Sara disagrees. She thinks Nick is getting too emotionally involved because of his recent near-death experience.
606. Secrets and Flies (Nov 03 2005)
A 28-year-old single mother is found shot to death in her home in what looks like a suicide, but Catherine determines quickly that the victim was murdered. The autopsy reveals that the woman was a virgin, but that she had also given birth. Back at the lab, Grissom is summoned by Ecklie to refute the testimony of an expert entomologist in a murder trial in order to prevent a killer from going free.
607. A Bullet Runs Through It #1 (Nov 10 2005)
Part 1 of two. A rookie police officer is killed during a shoot-out with four Hispanic gang members after a high-speed chase. The investigation reveals that the officer may not have been killed by a gang member, but rather by so-called friendly fire. Grissom and his crew search a crime scene that stretches for miles to determine what really happened.
608. A Bullet Runs Through It #2 (Nov 17 2005)
Conclusion. After a rookie cop is fatally wounded during a gun battle between police and gang members, the only suspect is gunned down as he's taken into custody. But Grissom fears that the cop was actually killed by so-called friendly fire from another officer. The investigation reveals that the gang members were involved with drug dealers.
609. Dog Eat Dog (Nov 24 2005)
An obese man is found dead in a dumpster outside of a restaurant on Thanksgiving and his hands are filled with mashed potatoes. The investigation leads Grissom and Catherine into the world of competitive eating. Across town, Nick and Sara probe the deaths of a husband and wife on the verge of divorce who were apparently attacked by a vicious dog. A golden retriever is found at the scene, but he hardly seems like a killer. 
610. Still Life (Dec 08 2005)
Grissom and his team investigate when a 6-year-old boy is reportedly kidnapped from a park where he was playing. The child's mother claims her son was on a swing set shortly before he disappeared. The investigation reveals that the mother is a widow and that she feared her late husband's military father would take the boy from her. Later, Nick is visited by Kelly Gordon, the daughter of the man who abducted Nick and buried him alive.
